Chairman

Peter Hoitinga is the founder and chairman of Amsterdam Dynamics. In 2020, he, Maartje Scheepstra, and Duco Wildeboer started playing hockey on the field in Nelson Mandela Park. Peter is driven by the desire to make hockey accessible to everyone. He himself was a newcomer to the sport when his daughter started playing. Through years of coaching her teams at AMVJ and Hockey Club Amsterdam, his commitment to hockey grew. In a neighborhood with a wealth of talent, but participation in a (hockey) club isn't a given, the club, with the help of the Hockey Foundation and Rabobank, has succeeded in getting a large group of children enthusiastic about hockey. A wonderful addition to Zuidoost and the sport of hockey.



The intention is for this board role to be taken over at some point by one of the Amsterdam Dynamics members (or their parents). When this happens, Peter will remain available for advice and support for an extended period.
